BESKUS

Weskus is die Beskus. That statement cannot be more true.

Spent an unbelievable 3 days up the West Coast With mates Kyle and Alex. Scored amazing waves and had an epic time. Its always a treat being up there always bringing back awesome memories. I will try my hand at stringing together a little edit which will hopefully be out tomorrow arvo if I can get my hands on a working PC.

Its amazing how just spending 3 days there can be so refreshing and as always I am way too keen to get back again. The West Coast really holds a special place in my life and is by far one of the best zones in SA.

Here are a couple snaps from Kyles camera to keep the stoke.

WESKUS

Spent the weekend op the West Coast with the Boland Crew. The waves were possibly some of the best I have ever scored up that side of the coast. Every trip up there makes me realize how amazing that part of the world is. It really does have a special place in my heart.

Stoked to have made the finals for mens. Hopefully there will be a few more. Overall it was an epic little get away, always a good time.

Here are two snaps from my cellphone camera.

Sebatical

Wow, how time has flown by. I made a post promising more posts and the next moment its almost 4 months later. I would like to try make the commitment to make regular posts as of today. The past 4 months have been rather epic and I do have a decent collection of photographs that are piled up.

I did read a rather profound quote by the Dalai Lama. It is possibly one of the most true things I have ever heard. It has really made me think about how one goes about life. The quote came from his response, when asked what surprised him most about humanity.

He replied;

‘Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.’

So here is to more updates and more photographs.
